UNAPOLOGETICALLY KOREAN.
EVERYONE WELCOME.
ABOUT JUMO
Tradition contributes a sense of comfort and belonging. It tells the story of where we came from and gives us an irrefutable connection to our ancestry.
JUMO believes sharing our tradition is the best way to preserve it and we’re starting with Korea’s traditional alcohol, soju.
Our drink uses a soju base infused with ingredients deeply rooted in Korea’s culture and tradition to create a modern cocktail.
WHAT DOES “JUMO” MEAN?
During Korea’s ancient Joseon dynasty, female bar owners of traditional pubs were called “jumo” (주모).
ABOUT THE DRINK
Our drink uses a truly premium soju. No buzzwords or fluff. Our soju is craft distilled and triple-filtered for a smooth and refined taste. It was our goal to make sure you can taste the unique flavor of soju. Lots of hard seltzers and canned cocktails use flavoring to cover the alcohol - primarily because the alcohol is harsh. Our flavors enhance the soju.
Our recipes took 8 months to perfect. Thoughtfully blending ingredients while maintaining the integrity of each one. You’ll notice you can taste each ingredient with every sip.
HOW TO DRINK JUMO
Enjoy chilled, straight from the can, and flip once before you open (real juice settles). Also tastes great on ice in a cocktail glass.
WHAT IS SOJU
Soju is a clear distilled spirit that goes back hundreds of years. It’s often referred to as “Korean vodka” as it has a clean, neutral, slightly sweet taste. Soju lives at the heart of Korean drinking culture.
WHY DO I HAVE TO POUR WITH TWO HANDS?
There are specific traditions around drinking soju, including pouring and receiving drinks with two hands from someone older than you, as a sign of respect. If you decide to enjoy JUMO in a glass with your (older) friends and family, remember to pour with two hands.
